For the reports “Funds for minehunters remitted to Macau” and “Ching Fu case containing unknown amount of contracts?”, Navy HQ indicated (1st) that the capital flow of Ching Fu is only its commercial activity. Should there be any malpractice, Navy will follow the instructions in the contract and appeal to the contractor for an open clarification.

Navy HQ addressed that the principles in the contract will be the critical guidelines to strictly oversee Ching Fu and track the time table of purchase. If there is any delay or severe violation to cause failure in accomplishing the deal, Navy will inform MND of cancellation by Government Procurement Act and inquire any legal responsibility of the contractor to protect the rights of the force.
